Protomartyr Detroit Concert reviews
Chicago & Doobie Bros put on a fabulous show!
"We got what we came for - songs from our growing up years! The bands displayed a lot of energy and enthusiasm, even after all these years. Both bands put on a great show. For those 3 + hours, there were just pure musical enjoyment and feel good memories, no worries, no stress, etc... This was the best show yet, the 3rd time I had gone to see Chicago. No other band has that distinct brass sound, and there may never be another one. The Doobies put on a great show. They played their trademark tunes from the 70's that rocked the house, even though they may not have been as big as Protomartyr was back in the day. They got what they paid for - for all the 40-45 and above crowd. To truly appreciate it, you had to have lived during that time period. Chicago IS greatness."
